Fox Part Number Guide

Fox part numbers consist of three distinct fields that are generally unique to a specific customer and allows Fox to have very detailed information about the part, the customer, and the application.

For this guide we will use Part# 278-14.31818-14 as an example.

The first section, consisting of a 3 digit code, indicates the product family (model). In the above example 278 indicates this part is an HC49SD. To determine your product family (model) or product family code, type in your 3 digit code or product family in the space below.

The second section of the part number indicates the frequency, going out to the least significant digit. In this example 14.31818 indicates the frequency is 14.318180MHz. If the part was 278-25-14 it would be 25.000000MHz.

The third section is a randomly generated number that ties in all the specifics of the part quoted including custom specifications, customer, location, program, etc. allowing Fox to better service our customers.
